Not Sure Where to Start?

  • Move toward what comes next

  • Schedule a Complimentary Consultation

If you are considering counseling and would like to see whether My Confidant Counseling, PLLC may be a good fit, you can schedule a complimentary consultation with Joerika Stitt, LSW.

This brief consultation gives you an opportunity to share what you are looking for, ask questions about the practice, and learn more about the services that may be appropriate for you.

A consultation is not a therapy session and does not establish a therapist-client relationship.

  • Release what has kept you grounded

Individual Therapy

  • Trauma, Abuse & Recovery

For adults and teens working through trauma, abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence, exploitation, grief, or other painful experiences.

Therapy may also support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, or significant emotional distress connected to difficult relationships, divorce, family conflict, or major life changes.

    60 minutes | $185

  • Addiction & Substance Use Counseling

Trauma-informed counseling for individuals concerned about substance use, unhealthy coping patterns, or behavioral dependencies.

We work on both the behavior itself and the emotional experiences, stress, trauma, or relationship patterns that may be contributing to it.

    60 minutes | $185

  • Anxiety, Depression & Life Transitions

For individuals navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, difficult relationships, divorce, family transitions, or periods when life simply feels overwhelming.

You do not need a perfect explanation for what is wrong. We can begin with where you are.

    60 minutes | $185

Couples & Family Therapy

  • Couples Counseling

For couples experiencing conflict, disconnection, betrayal, recurring communication problems, or an important decision point.

The goal is not to determine who is right or wrong. We work to understand the patterns affecting the relationship and determine what healthier communication and connection can look like moving forward.

    75 minutes | $235

  • Family Counseling

For families navigating conflict, divorce adjustment, major transitions, strained relationships, or patterns that continue to repeat.

Family therapy creates space for each person to be heard while helping the family develop healthier ways of communicating, responding, and functioning together.

Sessions may include up to five family members, allowing sufficient time to understand different perspectives and work on the family system as a whole.

    90 minutes | $285

Court-Involved Family Services

  • Reunification Therapy

Structured therapy focused on rebuilding a strained or disrupted parent-child relationship.

The process is paced carefully, with attention to the child’s emotional well-being, the history of the family relationship, and the circumstances surrounding the rupture.

    $285 per 75-minute clinical unit

A retainer may be required for record review, attorney or professional coordination, documentation, and other work outside the therapy session.

Court-involved cases require appropriate documentation or authorization before services begin.

  • Co-Parenting Counseling

For separated or divorced parents who need help communicating, managing recurring disagreements, and developing a healthier co-parenting relationship.

Sessions are forward-focused and centered on the needs of the children. We work on communication, boundaries, decision-making, managing conflict, and keeping children out of adult disputes.

The focus is not on repairing the former romantic relationship. Rather, it is focused on helping parents function more effectively as co-parents.

    75 minutes | $285

Therapy Intensives & Groups

  • Therapy Intensives

Sometimes 60 minutes does not feel like enough time to get into meaningful work before the session ends.

Extended therapy sessions provide additional time for focused trauma work, stabilization, coping strategies, and deeper processing.

    90-Minute Intensive | $275

    2-Hour Intensive | $360

  • Therapy Groups

Small therapeutic groups bring together people working through similar experiences.

Group topics may include trauma recovery, unhealthy or abusive relationships, emotional regulation, recovery from substance use, family transitions, and other shared experiences.

All participants complete an individual screening before joining a group.

    $75 per participant, per session

Group schedules and program lengths vary.
